Insight Clinical Hypnosis

About me

I trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy at the Institute of Clinical Hypnosis - one of the U.K.'s leading Hypnotherapy colleges. I am one of the few students to earn a First in the Professional Diploma exam, the highest grade the Institute awards. The ICH course provides all students with training in an enormous range of techniques and therapies drawn from the work of the very best hypnotherapist and NLP practitioners. Before becoming a Hypnotherapist I worked for seven years as a tutor at Collingham College, of Kensington, one of the U.K.'s leading tutorial colleges.

I studied as a physicist at university, gaining an honours degree, and trained myself in analytic thinking and the scientific method. Since then I’ve studied psychology, philosophy, and personal development, and I believe this allows me to bring a unique and insightful perspective to the work of a Hypnotherapist - combining together the mental discipline of science with the intuition, and empathy, I have learned from my other studies.

I chose to study Hypnotherapy when I realised how enormously powerful it can be in changing people’s lives – too often we simply ‘put up with’ negative thoughts, flashes of past emotion, or destructive habits. Hypnotherapy provides a series of powerful techniques for addressing these issues, and revolutionising the way we think and feel. I now aim to bring these techniques to as many people as possible.

My practice is registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register, and I am a validated practitioner with the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council who ensure high standards of training and ethical conduct.
